Creating Multimodals in Physical Education

Staff will be involved in a two day inservice where they will learn to: 

• create a multi modal presentation for themselves 
• utilise a school wide process to support student learning and creations.   
• planning, 
• media capture, 
• media creation, 
• sourcing media ethically, 
• video editing techniques and 
• presentation options using iPads and laptops.

Creating Videos

• Learn the scaffolded process for teaching students how to create videos
• Revise sourcing CC images and attributions
• How to use video pad or iMovie 

Creating Podcasts

• How podcasts can be used by students to demonstrate learning
• How podcasts can be used by teachers to support student learning
• How to create a podcast with audacity or Garage Band

Creating Tutorials

• Have students demonstrate their learning by teaching others
• This could be done using:
• Snapguide
• Powerpoint
• Uploading to Google Docs to embed in student blogs
• Screen captures
